I would like to inform you that a new pipeline has been mark as required for all Swift Package Manager PR targeting branch main, and subsequent release branches.
This pipeline is a windows self-hosted, which essentially executed the Utilities\build-using-self script.
The first stage was to ensure we ensure we don't introduce regressions on windows, so Tests: Skip failing tests on windows by bkhouri · Pull Request #8210 · swiftlang/swift-package-manager · GitHub was published that "skipped" any tests that failed on windows. Now that the self-hosted windows pipeline is required, the next step is to remove as many skipped tests as possible.
In addition, we will eventually be looking to execute the Swift PM tests in the Swift Test Windows Platform pipeline.
Until the @swift-ci please test is updated to also trigger the newly required self-hosted windows pipeline, you may need to manually demand it (see Docs: Update to reflect new pipeline by bkhouri · Pull Request #8429 · swiftlang/swift-package-manager · GitHub for information).
